“Semana Informática”, an IT specialized Portuguese publication, presented the top 200 IT companies in Portugal.
In 2008, the IT sector increased its employment by about 5% compared with 2007 results, increasing from 21787 to 22792 employees. Regarding to turnover , the companies included in this ranking totalized 4.5 thousand million euros in 2007 and 5 thousand million euros in 2008. These 500 million euros represent an increase of 11%.
Telbit continues to demonstrate the result of ongoing efforts to develop activities with sustainable value, achieving once again the ranking of the top 200 IT companies in Portugal.
